The first day in a foreign place is always disorienting, strange, isolating. But the next day is always better. Exploring a place for the first time is a welcome challenge. Finding food always seems to be an adventure.
The first day in Munich, I luckily found the Lidl's around the corner (only supermarket in the small town of ascheim/dornach). I enjoyed bio (organic) cheese with sesame crackers. One of my favorite things was nutella served with toast at breakfast until I found the Viktualienmarkt. Fresh baguette with caprese salad and hot roasted mixed nuts...mmm.
