Don't forget the greens

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks, reflect and give back. It's also a time to be thankful for the year's harvest. As the table is filled with turkey, stuffing, cheesy casseroles, bread, sweet potato souffle, and pumpkin pie, don't forget the greens. Greens can add a savory or sweet touch to the table. I'm planning on making citrus collards this year. Last year I whipped up this savory recipe instead.

Kale salad with pomegranates
Brussel sprout salad
Swiss chard with canellini
Indonesian collards
Green pea dip  with veggies or crostini (try basil instead of cilantro)
Green soup with ginger
Marinated kale salad
Tuscan kale

oh kale and pomegranates....i'll have to check that one out.
