Cold-brewed coffee

I love iced coffee. I know some of you do not. You prefer that piping hot cup of joe each morning. I actually look forward to trading that hot mug with an iced drink when temperatures rise (especially as we're stuck in the 90s in NC lately).

I started spending a little too much money at my local coffeeshop, so I looked for recipes I could make at home. This is the my favorite recipe. I don't add water to mine, I just pour over a cup of ice. There's no need for milk or sugar, but if you do prefer it creamy, try almond milk and a dash of cinnamon.

Do you listen to The Sporkful podcast? One of the hosts insists that to be true iced coffee the ice cubes have to be made with coffee too. I've been meaning to buy some iced trays and fill them with coffee to try it out, but haven't yet!

I don't listen to Sporkful, but maybe I should :)
I've heard about making coffee ice cubes, but with this recipe I think the coffee is strong enough that regular ice cubes are perfect. Let me know if you give it a try!

This looks really good, as I love Ice Coffee as well, but for some reason the link is now working. Maybe the site is down for maintenance. Is there another location for this recipe?

Anonymous the website must have been down when you tried, but it appears to be working again.
