Chilled avocado soup

This recipe comes from Peter Berley's Fresh Food Fast. I highly recommend this cookbook. It's vegetarian, and organized by meals in season. For example, this chilled avocado soup is paired with zucchini and black bean quesadillas in the Summer section.

Chilled avocado soup
2 servings
1 avocado
1 c ice water (with ice)
juice from 1 lime
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 c cilantro
1 tbsp olive oil

Blend all the ingredients and garnish with cilantro. Season with sea salt and pepper.

I am so in love with your blog and all your delicious recipes. It is helping me come up with ideas on what to do with all our farmer's market finds. Would you mind if I featured your Chilled Avocado soup post and photo on my blog?
